In our Glass Division we cater for most use of glass, we stock clear Pilkington glass from 2mm for pictures to 10mm thick plate for shelves and table tops, we keep the full range of Pilkington's textured glass and fire resistant wired glass, we can also obtain clear fire resistant glass with insulation if required to meet building regulations.

We stock 4.4mm and 6.4mm laminated safety glass for glazing into doors. We can obtain toughened safety glass, double glazing units to order normally within days. All items are available on a supply only basis or glazed by our experienced glaziers, from a single pane of glass to a large housing contract, no job is too small.

Safety Glazing
From 1 January 1996 all low level glazing in workplaces where or the public are likely to come into contact should where necessary for reasons of health and safety be of safety material or be protected against breakage.

This is the first legislation to be retrospective and includes exisitng buildings not just new developments and refurbishments. Only the critical locations which form, or are part of the internal and external walls and doors or shops, showrooms, offices, factories, public or other non-domestic buildings.

In other words all glazing where any part is below 800mm in height and if its within or adjacent to a door all glazing up to 1500mm

Our Windows Division can supply standard casement windows, tilt and turn windows, purpose made horizontal or vertical sliding windows from our outstanding Joinery Shop. All products are made to order and can be made to your exact requirements with additional features like georgian bar or leaded light effect.

We can offer all of the above in PVCu in a choice of five finishes or two types of Aluminium frames, direct fix (to brickwork) or frame fix (into a hardwood sub-frame), these are available in any standard RAL colour.

In our Door Division we supply and fit standard and non standard door, made from mahogany, oak, pine and hemlock.
